and now...here is my BIO!

I am a lifelong Southwest side Chicagoan! I graduated from St John the Baptist grammar school (50th and Peoria), class of 1974. The school closed the day after I graduated.(No, it wasn't because of me!!!! ). I then attended Lourdes High School and graduated in 1978. I attended Loyola University for a bit but eventually Control Data Institute located on Michigan Avenue was where I became a student and received a computer programming certificate in 1981. I was a programmer for 18 years. When I was in my early 30s, I went back to finish what I had started. I graduated from Concordia University in River Forest, IL with a BA in Organizational Management. I then crossed Division Street, attended Dominican University and graduated in 2001 with an MBA (concentration in Human Resource Management and International Business). In 2002, I changed careers and became a Financial Advisor.

I always get asked the question on how I got into radio. The answer is really quite simple but my life hasn't been the same since. I had joined a chamber of commerce and met a Naprapath by the name of Dr James E Woodley. He had a coworker from the Naprapathic College where they both taught that had a radio show on the great WJJG. He thought I should call him up to be a guest because I always believed in balance-be it physical, mental, spiritual, emotional and financial. Well, after our conversation, he said he wasn't interested but that I should call up other radio hosts. Soon after, someone from the station called me up and wanted to know if I wanted my own show. I said "Yes" immediately because I thought I would never get this opportunity again. I started on April 16, 2004. I was petrified on the first 3 shows but it got easier over time and today I look back on what a learning experience I have had. I've met so many interesting and knowledgeable people. I am excited to have recently celebrated my 5 year anniversary. I've had topics from Acupuncture to Wines. I'm still trying to get topics beginning with the letters Q, X, Y. In Oct  2008, I had as my guest, Zelda Robinson (who was awesome!) so I think I can say the letter Z can be deleted. If I can find a zoo-ologist then I can have my "Z" topic. Maybe I need an x-ray technician or someone with the name of Xavier on or maybe someone who works at a yoyo factory or whose name is Yolanda. If you can help me think of people or topics to complete the Q, X and Y and get them on the air-I would appreciate it!

I have been married to Mark for 27 years. We have a son, Aaron, 26 and a daughter, Amy, 22. It is strange to not have any teenagers in the house! We also have a beautiful grandson named Isaiah! He is a very happy child, always smiling and just a joy to be around. He turned 3 years old on October 2, 2009.

Some of what we'll go over: positive affirmations to use, important crystals, you'll create a mini-vision board, and gratitude list, write a letter that you'll open in one year (think about how you want your life to be), I'll give a group ARCH healing (I'm a Certified ARCH Master Practitioner (Energy Healing). I'll show you how to use a pendulum and you'll get one to keep. I'll give you a list of the books and CDs that have helped me.
